Jeff Manthos is an award-winning luthier based in Corvallis, Oregon, specializing in violins and violas. He trained at the Violin Making School of America and apprenticed with Thomas Metzler, beginning his own instrument making in 1991. Known for his hands-on approach using traditional 400-year-old techniques, Manthos creates instruments inspired by Brescian, Cremonese, and Venetian masters. His work has earned a Silver Medal from the Violin Society of America.
