Natale Carletti (1904–1979) was a prolific Italian luthier from Pieve di Cento, Bologna. He was the son and pupil of Carlo Carletti and studied cello at the Bologna Conservatoire. He took over his father's workshop in 1941, working with his brother Nullo. Carletti crafted an impressive output, including over 200 cellos, often basing his violins on the 'San Lorenzo' Stradivari model. His high-order workmanship and golden-yellow to deep red varnish earned him multiple gold and silver medals.
