Giuseppe Stefanini (1908–1992) was an acclaimed Italian luthier whose career spanned several decades and cities. He began his training with Luigi Vistoli in Lugo, later collaborating with Nicola Utili and Pietro Borghi. Stefanini worked closely with the Bisiach family, for whom he made numerous instruments, moving to Brescia in 1957 and Florence in 1986. His well-made instruments, inspired by classical makers, are characterized by full archings, great care in execution, and an attractive yellow-orange varnish.
