Rock Eggen is a respected contemporary American luthier based in Denver, Colorado, where he established Eggen Violins, Inc. in 1980. Originally from Salt Lake City, Eggen has received significant recognition for his craftsmanship, including a First Place for Violin Workmanship at the 1988 VSA International Competition. He is known for creating instruments prized by professional players for their quality of response and aesthetic beauty, in addition to his work as a restorer.
