About the Maker
Hors Concours Violin Society of America (VSA) member Thomas Croen has been making violins since enrolling in the Violin Making School of America in Salt Lake City in 1977. He is well known for his beautiful varnish work, precise workmanship, and exquisite tone quality
Tom has served two terms on the VSA board, has been a workmanship judge at two VSA competitions, and is a member of the American Federation of Violin and Bow Makers, where he has also served on the board.
This phenomenal example of his work is any violinist’s dream: easy to play, golden tone, and even across all four strings.
