About the Maker
Denver Violins Business Partner Eduard Miller is an award winning violinmaker based out of the Denver area in Colorado. Eduard grew up with a love for playing music and the violin. After receiving a bachelors degree in music, a fascination with the historic and artistic side of the violin itself brought him to the Violin Making School of America in Salt Lake City, UT.
Eduard had the opportunity to continue his education by studying with several well regarded violin makers. Working with Georg Meiwes in Salt Lake City led to an apprenticeship with Gregg Alf in Ann Arbor, MI. This was followed by the opportunity to spend time in the studio of Joseph Curtin.
Today, Eddy dedicates his time to new instrument making. He is constantly striving to uphold and refine the quality of his workmanship, while creating instruments that have the excellence and character that are essential to musicians. Eddy is a member of the American Federation of Violin and Bow Makers.
